Thranduil, King of the Woodland Elves and father of Legolas Greenleaf, played a crucial role in the Battle of the Five Armies, the final battle of the Hobbit film adaptation. But it is mainly his weakness for jewelry and gems that led him to lead his troops from Mirkwood to the Mountain of Erebor and fight alongside humans and dwarves against the orcs.

The sword of the Elven King is one of two twin swords, crafted by the best blacksmiths of the Woodland Realm. Featuring details such as vine and leaf tendrils, the blade of stainless steel and the handle of cast metal are very close to the original from the movie. The patterns on the sword are partly painted and/or punched out. In addition, a wooden wall mount with elven decorations is included in the delivery. United Cutlery, known for its attention to detail and quality, delivers another proof of its craftsmanship with this Hobbit movie replica.

Das mächtige Schwert es Elfenkönigs!

Definitiv etwas für jeden der etwas mehr Mittelerde Feeling möchte!

Der Versand ging sehr schnell. Das Schwert ist toll verarbeitet und viel schwerer als erwartet. Ich hab eher mehr so etwas wie eine Atrappe erwartet, aber das Schwert sieht wirklich aus wie in den Hobbit Filmen.

Hi, wann werden die Schwerter wieder verfügbar sein (egal welches)?

Hey Alexander,
zwei Schwerter sollen voraussichtlich am 17.09. wieder geliefert werden. Dabei handelt es sich um Bilbos Schwert Stich und Gandalfs Schwert Glamdring. Manchmal kann es sich noch etwas verzögern, aber halt am besten ab da die Augen offen. Ansonsten kannst du dich auch auf den Produktseiten in den Mailverteiler eintragen und dann bekommst eine Nachricht, wenn das Produkt wieder online ist.

3. ich hab das schwert in der hand gehabt und weder gemerkt das die verzierung draufgeklebt noch schlecht verarbeitet sind
also ich versteh nicht was es an dem schwert zu mäckeln gibt

Fantastisch!

Das Schwert ist komplett aus Metall, Klinge und Griff sind durchbrochen gearbeitet, wobei die Verzierungen am Griff mit einem schwarzen Material unterlegt sind. Die erhabenen Verzierungen an der Klinge sind tatsächlich aufgeklebt (wäre anders auch kaum bezahlbar), aber bei meinem Exemplar sehr professionell; die einzelnen Teile passen exakt zusammen und Kleberreste sind auch keine vorhanden. Vor allem am Griff befinden sich zahlreiche künstliche "Macken", die dem Schwert wohl ein benutztes Aussehen verleihen sollen und die glatte Metalloberfläche auch etwas interessanter gestalten. Diese "Macken" und Teile der Verzierung an der Klinge sind blass-lila eingefärbt - klingt jetzt vielleicht schlimm, sieht aber in natura sehr gut aus! Fazit: Optisch ein fantastisches Schwert und ist außerdem erstaunlich gut ausbalanciert! Winziges (!) Manko: Es ist etwas knifflig in die Halterung zu pfriemeln.

Sehr schönes Schwert - mittelmäßige Qualität

Fehler in der Produktbeschreibung:
1. Fotos sind fehlerhaft (die ovalen Kreise in der Verzierung auf der Schwertklinge sind in Wahrheit Löcher)
2. Fehlerhafte Produktbeschreibung: [...]Griff gegossenes Metall mit Leder umwickelt[...] Der Griff ist jedoch NICHT mit Leder umwickelt.

Positiv:
+ super Optik

Negativ:
- schlechte Verarbeitung
- Verszierung ist auf Klinge geklebt nicht in Klinge eingearbeitet
- Verzierung besteht aus mehreren Teilen, die teilweise nicht exakt aneinander geklebt wurden
- Schwert ist voll von Kleberesten

Fazit: Grund für den Kauf war unter anderem die in vielen Berwertungen gelobte Qualität von United Cutlery, die ich überhaupt nicht nachvollziehen kann. Ich bin auch weniger von der Material als von der Verarbeitungsqualität enttäuscht. Bei der Verarbeitungsqualität und "Made in China" würde ich die Herstellungskosten bzw. den Wert auf max. EUR 80 schätzen. Sehr schade!

Stabilität?

Ich Plante eigentlich mir dieses Schwert zu Kaufen aber ein paar Punkte in der Beschreibung verunsichern mich.
1. Material: Griff gegossenes Metall mit LEDER umwickelt?
2. Und die die Sollbruchstelle wo ist die und wie viel würde die aushalten? Ein Sturz aus der Wandhalterung (Bei mir leider schon bei einem anderen Objekt passiert, das zum Glück unbeschadet blieb.) Weil bei dem Preis wäre es schade wenn es sofort bricht.
